Building an app for Social Good: The final project in the Google UX Design Professional Certificate Program.
The concept: GradMentor is a mentoring service for new grads and those early in their careers. Users can network with industry professionals, schedule mentoring sessions, and connect with other fresh talent for freelance opportunities.

Below are some initial app ideas that became a reality including a calendar, networking pages, a full profile and messaging.
The GradMentor branding focuses on being scholarly and comfortable. With communication being a priority within this service, the conversation bubbles appear frequently as part of the brand identity.

The calendar provides several options for schedule tracking from an interactive day-by-day view, or the upcoming meetings scroll bar that updates in real-time.

Gradmentor aims to create a space where these individuals can foster relationships with mentors and other industry professionals. The intent of career growth is clear with GM.
